PRIVACY POLICY:

Sterling-ES respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it.  We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site.  We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and page(s) you visited.  We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.   Heck, we will probably never find it ourselves.  We would like to include you in our newsletter list but you can opt out at any time.

SECURITY POLICY:

Your payment and personal information is always safe.  Our Secure Sockets layer(SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.  It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, address, etc. so it cannot be read over the internet.

WARRANTY POLICY:

Sterling-ES is a merchant providing pre and post sale engineering support with each sale.  We are not a manufacturer.  The products we sell are supported by our manufacturers’ warranties.  Sterling does not offer any real or implied warranty of any product we sell but each product is backed by exceptional manufacturer warranties.  For example, Toshiba flowmeters offer 10 year factory warranties and Moxa offers 5 year warranties for most products.   These warranties are provided through the manufacturers but Sterling-ES will work with you to support your warranty claims. Contact Sterling-ES Customer Support at 888-554-2021 to obtain information about warranties offered by our manufacturers.

REFUND POLICY:

In most cases we can offer a refund if the product is in original packaging and is undamaged.  No purchase will be refunded unless it is returned with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number provided by Sterling-ES.  Please call Customer Service at 888-554-2021 to inquire about refunds and to obtain an RMA.    All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of the purchase within five (5) business days upon receipt of the returned merchandise.  A restock fee may apply to some items.  Please inquire about when requesting your RMA.

SHIPPING POLICY:

If the items you are purchasing are in Sterling-ES inventory then they will be shipped within one day of receipt of order.  If the items not in Sterling-ES inventory but are in factory stock then Sterling-ES will notify you of your expected date of receipt of the product.  Call us at 888-554-2021 and we can provide stock status information for our own inventory and our manufacturers’ inventory.    Sterling-ES uses United Parcel Service (UPS) as our primary carrier.  We can ship collect using your UPS account number if you provide it otherwise we will prepay and add freight to your bill.  Call us if you need expedited shipping or UPS Overnight service.

SALES TAX

Sterling-ES is registered to collect sales tax in Virginia and North Carolina only.  Please provide a copy of your tax exempt certificate if your purchase is exempt in VA or NC.  Sales tax will not be collected for orders shipping to any state other than VA or NC.
