Summary of essential job functions

  • Develop and Maintain Target and Key Account lists.
  • Identify, develop and sell solutions to fit Customers’ applications requirements.
  • Work independently to build sales in new and existing accounts.
  • Monitor and manage performance against budget and profit targets.
  • Provide individual and group product presentations as well as one on one problem solving meetings with customers.
  • Follow established sales processes and document work using company provided CRM system.
  • Manage a list of open customer opportunities.
  • Attend factory training and trade shows as required.
  • Actively participate in local professional and trade organizations.
  • Occasional overnight travel required.

Minimum requirements:
Some college or technical training preferred but not required if there is enough related work experience.  2-5 years of industrial or commercial service experience preferred.  A safe driving record, valid driver’s license and ability to pass employment screening process is required.

Field Service Engineer For Hire GRaphicWork with a motivated team of engineers, technicians, sales and support staff to install, commission and service automation, control and communication products and systems. Projects will include programming, maintenance, installation and commissioning of VFD’s, PLCs, and HMIs, wireless systems and industrial networking.

Seeking self-motivated candidates who are able to work independently but still interact daily with the Service Manager and other Technicians via phone, email and CRM. Good written and oral communication skills are required. Proficiency with a computer and standard software is required. The candidate must have a working knowledge of PLC’s, VFDs, IP Networking and Wireless Systems.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Will work independently with customers under the supervision of the Service Manager.
  • Travel to customers every day for service calls and technical sales calls. Other travel will include factory training and stays in hotels for better time management in the field as required.  Overnight hotel stays should average 4-12 nights a month.
  • Follow established service processes and document work using Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).

  • Post–Sale Technical Support
  • PLC, HMI, Gateway programming and troubleshooting
  • Wireless and Wired Ethernet and Serial network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Variable Speed Drive commissioning and troubleshooting

  • Technical reports
  • Project Management
  • Subcontractor Coordination
  • Technical presentations
  • Perform other service and customer support activities as required and/or assigned.

Minimum requirements:
Some college or technical training preferred but not required if there is enough related work experience.  2-5 years of industrial or commercial service experience preferred.  A clean driving record is also required. Pass initial drug test.  Ability to travel overnight 20-30% is required.
